Description
Open-pollinated. Flat-topped white flowers bloom June–August with an odd alluring scent that attracts bees, butterflies and beneficials. One of the most popular herbs for colds and flu. A hot cup of tea from leaves and flowers induces a sweat to throw off heat and toxins. Also used to stanch internal and external bleeding. Avoid large doses during pregnancy. Perennial grows 1–2′, spreads slowly, preferring lean soil. Rich garden soil may produce lush 3′ plants that need staking. Zone 2. We also carry ornamental yarrows. Especially attractive to pollinators.
