Crazy beach-party color combo of orange and rosy red streaks, reminiscent of our favorite bicolor beefsteaks like Gold Medal, Pineapple, or Striped German, but shrunk to a 1¼” tender-skinned round cherry with fruity sweetness and mild acid balance. At markets, the visual pull of a quart of mixed cherries is irresistible, and the flavor keeps everyone snacking. We munched and compared cherry tomatoes in the trial gardens tended by Anna Goff in Deer Isle, ME, where the coastal sunsets are not tropical, but stunning nonetheless
