Description
(55 days) Open-pollinated. Also known as Farr’s White Bush, developed by Charles N. Farr and introduced in 1914 by F.W. Bolgiano & Co. of Washington, DC. Farr selected for the uniform scallops and the greenish-cream coloring in the younger stages of the fruits. Rated by many as the best-tasting summer squash, especially if picked small at 2–3″ diameter when they are especially fine-textured and tender.
