My family moved to a farm in Preston County, West Virginia in 2000. At that time the County Road was called “Bee Run”, named for the creek that trickled through our property. It was this idyllic setting that nurtured my love of growing things. In 2016, I returned home to Bee Run.
As a single parent in a world that is often chaotic, I find it is wonderful to instill in my children the values of being outside, working the soil, and reaping the rewards of nature. What started as a lifestyle choice for me, has blossomed into something bigger as I share this love of the land and all its bounty with my neighbors, friends, and you.
